Kildare gardaí launch probe following theft of cash from vehicle. File photograph
Gardaí based in South Kildare have launched a probe following the theft of cash from a vehicle.
When asked by the Leinster Leader about this crime, a garda spokesperson responded: "Gardaí received a report of a theft from a car that occurred in Athy, County Kildare at approximately 3.40am on August 30, 2025.
"A sum of cash was taken in the course of this incident."
The spokesperson also said: "Investigations are ongoing."
