Kildare County Council has been asked to take act over signs placed by retailers in Naas.

Independent councillor Bill Clear wants KCC to confirm "what actions it is taking to ensure compliance with the signage policy for retail buildings" in Naas area, which also includes Johnstown, Kill, Sallins and Ballymore Eustace.

He said there is "apparent disregard for this policy by certain business owners in Naas."
