A temporary road closure is currently in place in North Kildare.
According to Kildare County Council: "Please note roadworks to take place on L5021 Island Road Rathmore from Monday, September 8 to Thursday, September 11, 2025.
"A temporary road closure will be in operation to facilitate the works with local access only.
"The L5021 will be closed from L5022 Ticknevin road junction, to the junction with L5020 Ballyhagan."
KCC added that it wished to apologise :for any inconvenience caused".
