Members of Aontú will gather this Saturday, September 13 at The Glenroyal Hotel, Maynooth, Co Kildare for their annual 'Think-In' ahead of the reconvening of Dáil Éireann after the summer recess.
The 'Think-In' will kick off with an address by Aontú leader Peadar Tóibín before delegates divide into several workshops which will focus on the key issues facing Ireland today.
Party members will discuss and lay out strategies on the challenges in Housing, Health Services, Cost of Living, Agriculture, Environment, Immigration, Education and Childcare.
The choice of Maynooth as their venue is no coincidence as Mr. Tóibín has shown special interest in the Kildare North constituency, having recently addressed a public meeting in Naas regarding the long-overdue expansion of Naas General Hospital.
The July meeting at the Naas Town House Hotel was convened by local representative Una O’Conor who previously stood as Aontú general election candidate Kildare North as well as in Clane Local Electoral Area.

Speaking ahead of this week's 'Think-In', Ms. O'Connor said: “The 2025 Aontú 'Think-In' is our annual opportunity to develop motions which were passed by the party members at our Ard Fheis. We are expecting attendance by our members from the thirty-two counties of Ireland.
“Over the course of the day, we will focus on the key issues facing our country and how we can tackle them with constructive action.
“Now with three members of Oireachtas, Aontú have achieved positive and sustained progress. We have shown a continued commitment to promoting the public interest and to helping our country meet critical challenges. We will build on this achievement and go further.”
