A power fault has been detected in one North Kildare region.

According to the Electricity Supply Board (ESB), that the outage was first reported in Dunfirth at around 9.35pm yesterday (September 11 last) and is expected to be resolved by 5pm today (September 12).

It is estimated that 16 customers are affected by the outage at present.

Speaking further about the outage, the ESB said: "We apologise for the loss of supply.

"We are currently working to repair a fault affecting your premises and will restore power as quickly as possible."
