Planning permission has been granted for a €19 million housing development at Branganstown East, Kilcock, Co. Kildare.
The Large-Scale Residential Development (LRD) will deliver 133 new homes on lands to the east of the Ledwill Park estate.
The approved scheme includes a mix of housing types: 20 one-bedroom maisonettes, four one-bedroom duplexes, two two-bedroom duplexes, six three-bedroom duplexes, five two-bedroom bungalows, 37 two-bedroom houses, 57 three-bedroom houses, and two four-bedroom houses.
A total of 142 car parking spaces and 68 bicycle parking spaces will be provided, alongside 4,700 square metres of public open space across three landscaped areas - including an 800 sq.m extension to the existing green space east of The Lawn, Ledwill Park.

The development will also feature a centrally located 400 sq.m communal open space.
Ledwill Avenue will be extended by 58 metres to the eastern boundary to facilitate access to the site and allow for a future connection to lands to the east.
Vehicular, pedestrian, and cycle access will be provided from multiple points within the Ledwill Park estate, along with additional pedestrian and cycle links throughout the site.
The scheme will be constructed in three phases and will include associated infrastructure such as water services, bin storage, public lighting, landscaping, boundary treatments, and internal roads.
The project represents a significant boost to housing supply in Kilcock, where demand for new homes has been steadily increasing.
