Construction works in one North Kildare location are due to be completed soon, Kildare County Council (KCC) has said.

Announcing the update today (September 19), KCC said: "Construction works are nearing completion on the Scoil Bhríde, Straffan, Safe Routes to School Scheme. 

"Temporary Stop / Go Traffic Management will continue to be in place on the Barberstown Road Junction during the week commencing of September 22, 2025."

KCC also said that wished to "apologise for any inconvenience caused".
