An alleged theft from a vehicle incident, which occurred in North Kildare, has led to a garda investigation.

When asked by the Leinster Leader about this crime, a garda spokesperson responded: "Gardaí received a report of alleged incident of theft from a MPV [mechanically propelled vehicle] in Maynooth, County Kildare.

"This occurred between the hours 7pm on September 21 last and 3.11pm on September 22 last."

The spokesperson added that the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact Leixlip Garda Station on 01 666 7800.
