A criminal damage incident at a County Kildare home has prompted a garda investigation.
According to Garda Chris Fallon, who discussed the crime during his appearance on a KFM on Wednesday, September 24 last, the incident occurred in Brownstown Lower.
He said that shortly after midnight on Saturday, September 20 last, the perpetrator(s) smashed "a number of windows" at the residence.
Gda Fallon also said that while nobody was injured during this incident, he nevertheless referred to it as "a frightening ordeal" for the residents inside the home.
He concluded by calling on anyone with information relating to this crime, in addition to those who may have dashcam footage depicting the incident, to contact Newbridge Garda Station on 045 440 180.
When asked by the Leinster Leader about this particular crime, a garda spokesperson replied: "Gardaí responded to an incident of criminal damage that occurred at approximately 12.15am on Saturday, September 20 last to a property in The Curragh, County Kildare."
The spokesperson added that investigations are ongoing.
