UPDATE: Kildare County Council announces new temporary closure following change in weather

Kildare County Council has announced a new temporary closure following the recent change in weather.

Explaining the updated closure, Kildare County Council said: "Kerdiffstown Park will be closed to public access on Thursday, October 2, 2025, to facilitate the seasonal wildflower meadow harvest.

"The park will remain open in the evening to allow access to the sports pitches."

KCC further said: "We apologise for the short notice. 

"The recent changeable weather conditions created an opportunity to carry out this work."
