Naas Roads Policing Unit (Naas RPU) carried out speed checks at Maynooth, Kildare recently and detected:
A van towing a laden trailer with no registration plate and no right rear lights, travelling at 85km/h in a 60km/h zone.
A novice driver detected travelling at 92km/h in a 60km/h zone.
Both drivers were issued with Fixed Charge Penalty Notices (€160 fine and three penalty points).
