The Naas Tidy Towns has successfully fundraised for a new van.
The voluntary group is well regarded locally for the amount of cleaning, sweeping, planting and washing undertaken around the town on an all year round basis.

They are everywhere to be seen in Naas.
They bought a van for €600 over six years ago and while it gave great service, the cost of maintaining the vehicle had exceeded its value.
Life Credit Union, based in offices in Naas, Newbridge and Maynooth, has also sponsored NTT projects
Volunteers were using their own family cars but this was not an ideal scenario because there is a lot of work to be done moving tools, plants and rubbish.
The group thanks all who helped them reach the goal needed to secure the new vehicle. NTT has earned the title of Ireland’s Cleanest Town three times, most recently this year and this achievement reflects the dedication of the volunteers and the unwavering support of the community.
