Road closure in North Kildare to last for 19 days. File photograph
A temporary road closure will be in effect for 19 days on one North Kildare road from next week.
Kildare County Council (KCC) explained: "Please note road works to take place from Monday, October 13, 2025 until Friday, October 31, October 2025 on the R408 Rathcoffey from the junction with L5035, Painstown to the entrance of Rathcoffey Church.
"Traffic management will be in operation to facilitate the works."
KCC also said that it wished to "apologise for any inconvenience caused".
