Gardaí based in County Kildare have released an appeal for information in relation to the theft of car.
The incident was highlighted by Garda Lenny Donnellan, who appeared on a KFM programme which aired earlier today (October 22).
Gda Donnellan said that the car was stolen from the Demesne area of Rathangan between the evening of Saturday, October 18 last and the morning of Sunday, October 19 last.
He went on to say that the vehicle was a grey BMW 520 Estate car, with the following registration plate: '131-LH-425'.

When asked by the Leinster Leader about this crime, a garda spokesperson responded: "Gardaí received a report of an alleged unauthorised taking of a vehicle outside a residential property in Kildare that occurred on between the hours [of] 8pm on the October 18 last and 9am on October 19 last.
The spokesperson added that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
