Kildare's Naas Roads Policing Unit were on patrol recently when they noticed a car parked in a disabled bay.
The driver was on the phone and there was no disabled parking permit displayed.
Meanwhile, another driver with a valid permit was waiting to use the space.
The driver was directed to move on, and a €150 fine was issued.
A message from An Garda Síochána Kildare stated: “Please respect disabled parking bays — there are only a few, and they’re vital for those who genuinely need them.
