Works under way on Leixlip Sports Centre's €4 million gym extension
Leixlip Amenities Sports Centre's €4 million extension to their gym is set to open early next year, featuring state-of-the-art equipment, upgraded changing rooms, and a brand-new sauna and steamroom.
The Kildare centre has already proudly clinched the coveted Gold Standard Award for Leisure Centres at the 2025 Ireland Active awards night. The accolade represents the highest honour in the leisure industry and marks a significant milestone for the community sports centre.
Paul Condron, CEO of Leixlip Amenities, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Sean Miller, Centre Manager, and the entire team for their dedication and excellence throughout the year. “This award is a testament to the incredible work of Sean and all our staff.
