Four patients on trolleys at Kildare's main hospital today

No patients on trolleys at Tallaght Hospital

Kildare's Naas General Hospital advises patients with non-emergency conditions to seek assistance from other parts of the health service

Four people were treated on trolleys at Naas Hospital today, having been admitted through the accident and emergency department.

It was among the least overcrowded hospitals in the eastern region today, although there were no patients on trolleys at Tallaght Hospital.

There were no patients on trolleys at Tullamore Hospital, while the figure for Portlaoise was nine.
