The Kildare Academy of Dance was celebrating success after winning Youth Organisation of the Year at the prestigious Dance Awards Ireland, held in the Mansion House, Dublin.
Representing the school on the night were Miss Jenny Mac Mahon, Jean McMahon, Danielle Bradshaw and Colette McNally, who joined dancers, teachers, and studios from all over the country for an evening recognising excellence in Irish dance education and performance.

The Kildare Academy of Dance was also shortlisted as finalists in three other major categories, Dance Studio of the Year (Industry & Recognition), Inclusive Dance Programme of the Year, and Dance Educator of the Year .
Speaking after the event, Jenny said the award was “a wonderful recognition of the hard work, commitment and heart that our students, staff and families put into everything we do.
"Our goal has always been to create a place where every dancer feels supported, seen and celebrated.”

The Kildare Academy of Dance continues to provide a wide range of classes for all ages and levels, along with its Kildare Youth Ballet Company, which offers students valuable pre-professional experience.
Their next production, The Nutcracker, will take place in December in The Moat Theatre Naas.
