Kildare 'should make the most of EU funding'

More projects and voluntary groups could be helped

A call has been made for a person to be appointed within the Kildare County Council to make the most of EU funding.

Cllr Evie Sammon told a KCC meeting that this could assist  KCC projects and voluntary and community groups. 

KCC said that this already a priority and it is aware of and applies for funding opportinities.
