The construction of eight brand-new two-storey dwellings has been proposed for a region located in South Kildare.

A planning permission application submitted by RB Wallace Limited shows that the company is seeking permission from Kildare County Council (KCC) to construct the dwellings at Townlands (Rheban West), Dublin Road in Athy.

RB Wallace Ltd is also seeking permission from KCC "for [the] connection to public services", in addition to all associated site works.

The date received on the application is listed as November 10 last.

The submission-by and due dates are listed as December 14, 2025 and January 13, 2026 respectively.

According to the business information website SoloCheck.ie, RB Wallace Ltd was established back in July of 2010.

It specialises in the "general construction of buildings and civil engineering works".

The company has a registered address listed as Whitebog, Barrowhouse in Athy (R14 KW28).
