ALDI will officially reopen its Monread store in Naas Thursday, November 27 following a €3.5M refurbishment. The revamped Kildare store will feature a brighter, modern design offering a more pleasant shopping experience for ALDI customers in the area.
The €3.5M upgrade will showcase ALDI’s award-winning Project Fresh layout, new in-store bakery, self-checkouts, wider aisles and hi-spec fixtures and fittings. Additionally, the store will feature 81 car park spaces and 18 bike spaces.
The new and improved ALDI store also boasts an impressive multi-feed external reverse vending machine that enables ALDI shoppers to deposit multiple DRS (Deposit Return Scheme) returns into the machine in one go. This will be the first ALDI store in Ireland to offer this bulk return service.
Ahead of the store reopening, Anton Burihin, ALDI Monread Store Manager said:“We are excited to welcome customers back to our new and improved store this Thursday. The redesigned layout simplifies and enhances the shopping journey, with new features like the bakery, bulk reverse vending machine, and self-checkouts significantly improving the overall experience.”
