Only minor work needs to be done on huge Kildare trees

A survey of trees in Naas has been completed and indicates that mainly minor works are needed on some.

These involve cutting ivy establishing on the trees, removing  deadwood and pruning in a small number of trees.

Kildare County Council said these works will be included in the next programme of works for the areas “which will take place in 2026.”

Cllr Ger Dunne asked about the survey “conducted on the trees at the Byrne’s Bridge area of Millbrook, Millbrook Villas and Millbrook Court.”
