Kildare County Council (KCC) has has two fixed potholes following an outcry from a number locals, according to two county councillors.
One pothole was near Rathbride Close in Kildare town, while the other one was located near the drawbridge in Monasterevin. Both regions are located within the Kildare-Newbridge Municipal District (MD).
Yesterday (December 3 last), the Leinster Leader contacted councillors representing the MD for comment on this situation.
And today (December 4), two representatives responded.
The first was Social Democrats Cllr Chris Pender, who told the Leader that KCC's Transport and Mobility Department examined the pothole in Kildare town and carried out remedial works on it.
The second representative who responded to the Leader was Fine Gael Cllr Kevin Duffy, who said that the pothole in Monasterevin was fixed yesterday by KCC.
