A camper van was allegedly set on fire in County Kildare over the weekend, according to a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána (AGS).

When asked by the Leinster Leader about this alleged incident, a spokesperson for AGS responded: "Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of an alleged incident of criminal damage by fire to a camper van in Newbridge, County Kildare on November 29, 2025 at approximately 10pm."

The spokesperson added that the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information relating to the alleged incident, and / or may have footage of the alleged incident, is asked to contact Newbridge Garda Station on 045 440 180.
