Green light given to €5.5m residential development in Sallins, Kildare

A total of 18 new residential units have been approved for a site address at Sallins Wharf and Sallins Pier, Sallins, Co Kildare.

According to Construction Information Services (CIS), approval was granted with respect to application number 2461359.

A planning application was submitted to Kildare County Council on 18/12/2024 for 18 residential units comprising four apartments (1 1-bed, 1 3-bed & 2 2-bed ) and 14 houses (8 3-bed, 6 4- bed).

The application included a new vehicular access from Sallins Pier and a new pedestrian access from Oberstown drive.

There were also to be amendments to the parking layout; provision of a bin store and four sheltered bike storage structures and all associated works.

The proposal includes all associated hard and soft landscaping, boundary treatments, footpaths and all ancillary works above and below ground.

The architect for the development is McGrane & Partners.
