A dozen people were treated on trolleys at Naas Hospital today.
Only one hospital in the eastern region - Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown - had less overcrowding. It had just a single patient on a trolley.
There were no patients on trolleys at Tullamore Hospital today and there were five on trolleys at Portlaoise Hospital.
