Criminal damage caused to van parked at garda station in Kildare

Gardaí in County Kildare are investigating after criminal damage was caused to garda van which was parked at a garda station.

The crime was highlighted by Garda Marc Connolly when he appeared as a guest on KFM yesterday (December 10 last).

He explained that between December 7 last and December 8 last, graffitti was sprayed onto a garda van which was parked at Kilcock Garda Station.

Gda Connolly also urged anyone with information relating to this incident to contact Leixlip Garda Station on 01 666 7800.

When asked by the Leinster Leader about this crime, a garda spokesperson replied: "Gardaí are investigating an incident of criminal damage that occurred to a garda patrol van in the early hours of Saturday, December 6 last at a premises on Church Street in Kilcock, County Kildare."

"Investigations are ongoing at this time," the spokesperson added.
