If you spot a hedgehog in ill health and want to know how to get it fighting fit again, then you may be in luck.
Kildare Wildlife Rescue (KWR) has announced that a one-day course aimed at assisting hedgehogs will take place next year.
According to KWR, 'Basic First Aid, Care and Rehabilitation of Hedgehogs' will go over a number of topics, including:
The course will take place at KWR's centre, which is located near Kildare town, on Friday, February 13, 2025.
It will begin at 9am and will conclude at around 5pm.

BRIEF BACKGROUND
Established in 2022, KWR later acquired its own site in July of that same year.
The organisation's centre is divided into a number of areas and pens, which are specially designated for a different type of wild animal.
KWR is a registered charity and is led by its manager, Dan Donoher, who is also known for his previous work with Kildare Animal Foundation.
