A planning application for a €1.5m petrol filling/service station in Allen, Co Kildare has been submitted to Kildare County Council.
According to Construction Information Services (CIS), application no. 2561420 was made on December 15 2025 with respect to a site addressed at Allen Cross Roads, Pluckerstown, Allen, Co Kildare.
The architect for the proposed development is Terry & O'Flanagan Limited.
The scheme comprises construction of a petrol filling / service station consisting of:
(a) a single storey services building with canopy comprising of neighbourhood convenience mini market shop, incorporating off-license for the sale of alcohol, deli counter and associated kitchen area with storage and service, drive through take away, coffee dock and associated seating area, offices, tourist information, plant room, storage and associated service;
(b) vehicle fuelling for 8 bays and 1 HGV bay and;
(c) external facilities and works including picnic, play amenity and rest areas, bicycle parking, car parking spaces, electrical vehicle charging points, car wash, signage, on site waste water treatment system including percolation area, all associated ancillary site development works, surface water disposal, footpaths and landscaping with vehicular access from the R415 all on a site of c.1.03 Ha.
