A woman who stole €670 worth of groceries from Dunnes Stores at Manor Mills, Maynooth, appeared at Naas District Court.
The woman, aged in 40s and who has an address in north Kildare, took some €672 worth of goods from the store on June 19 last.

Sgt Dave Hanrahan told the court that the property was recovered and the defendant has no previous convictions.
Defending solicitor David Powderly said the defendant ‘s birthday was coming up.
Mr Powderly said the defendant had lost a sibling tragically and “she was not in a good place.”
A medical report was handed into court on behalf of the defendant and Judge Desmond Zaidan that in light of the contents of the report and an absence of prior convictions, he would apply the Probation Act.
