Four Naas schools participated
The Naas Disability and Access Disability Group worked with four primary schools in Naas as part of Kildare Disability Week.
The schools - Mercy Convent, Killashee National School, Naas Community National School Gaelscoil Nás na Ríogh - took part in a poster competition.

In recognition of the week and the International Day of Persons with Disabilities , pupils from fifth and sixth classes created artwork exploring the theme Not All Disabilities Are Visible. Their pieces reflect thoughtful, creative interpretations of this important topic.
The winning and outstanding entries were on display in Naas Library and Cultural Centre throughout the week and they will also be showcased on the CKAN.ie website.
The NDADG is a network of individuals and organisations working towards making County Kildare inclusive and fully accessible to all.
The group supports the removal of physical, attitudinal and communication barriers for all. This is done by working closely with Kildare County Council, local businesses and other stakeholders.
The group meets monthly and regularly participates in street audits to monitor the ongoing development and improvement of the greater Naas town area.
