These two estates in a Kildare town should be linked with a footpath

A call has been made for a footpath to link the Brookfield and Meadowbank estates in Maynooth.

Cllr Donna Phelan asked if Kildare County Council had plans to allocate money for the “small section of footpath.”

According to KCC the road works programme for 2026 has not been finalised and this request will be considered and if funding is made available through Local Property Tax (LPT) “then it can be advanced in 2026.”
