Gardaí are investigating a burglary incident of two adjoining commercial premises which occurred in North Kildare.
Details of the linked crimes were read out on KFM yesterday morning (February 4) by Garda Orlaith Fahy, who appeared as a guest on one of the station's programmes.
She explained that both incidents occurred in Clane on Monday, February 2 last at around 5am.
In the first incident, three males broke into Perfectly Sculpted Clinic in Clane and stole skincare products, in addition to a skincare machine, to the value of approximately €5,000.
Shortly after this crime took place, a burglary took place at Hawk & Blade in Clane.

The perpetrators proceeded to steal a sum of cash and an Apple iPad from this premises.
Gda Fahy also revealed that the perpetrators proceeded to flee the scene in "a grey or silver" Kia Sportage car with the following registration plate: '10-G-17078'.
She concluded by urging anyone with information relating to either of both of these crimes to contact Clane Garda Station on 045 868 262.
When asked by the Leinster Leader about these two incidents, a garda spokesperson had this to say: "Gardaí are investigating a burglary incident of two adjoining commercial premises that occurred in Clane, County Kildare on Monday, February 2 last at approximately 5am".
They added that the investigation is ongoing.
