After a bright start and a one week break, Brian Flanagan's men are back out to face Derry this weekend at Cedral St Conleth's Park in Round 3 of the Allianz Football League's Division 2. Kildare welcome The Oak Leaf to Newbridge on Saturday, February 14 for a 6:30pm throw-in.

The Lilies come into this game after a pleasing three points from their first two games with a crucial home win over Offaly following an impressive away point in Omagh.
The visitors are fresh off their first win since victory on penalties in the Division 1 League final against Dublin on March 31, 2024 and, despite getting that particular monkey off their back, this game certainly represents a chance for The Lilies to have a go at a team far from brimming with confidence.
This game should see the return of some names off Kildare's long injury list from the start of the league season, but most will likely have to bide their time before returning to the starting XV with The Lilies playing well and sharpness an enormous factor against a decent side, regardless of their form.
