Litter bins are needed in The Block area of Prosperous.
Cllr Paula Mulroe told a Clane-Maynooth Municipal District meeting that Kildare County Council should engage with community groups in the village.
A KCC engineer will contact Cllr Mulroe to set up a meeting with the community groups in Prosperous.
But KCC also pointed out there is no increase in the funding provided for street cleaning throughout the county in the 2026 budget.
