Last year's parade
Plans are well underway for this year's Monasterevin St Patrick’s Day Festival and annual St Patrick’s Day Parade, a much‑loved community event that brings together families, local groups, schools, and businesses.
Music and activities begin at 1pm at the Community Centre on St Patrick's Day, while the parade kicks off at 2pm on the main street.
The parade will feature colourful floats, local clubs and organisations, musicians, and performers, and always attracts a large crowd from Monasterevin and the surrounding areas.
There will be an extended programme of music and activities before and after the parade and reflects the positive, family‑friendly atmosphere of St Patrick’s Day celebrations in south Kildare.
