Kildare-born broadcaster Ray D’Arcy is set to return to broadcasting next week with the launch of a new podcast, Ray D’Arcy Daily.

After 11 years with the station, he thanked colleagues, contributors and loyal listeners for their support.

His exit marked the beginning of a significant shake-up of the daytime schedule.

The first episode of Ray D’Arcy Daily will be released on Monday, March 9.
