A man shouted at his wife and made sexual demands of her, it was alleged at Naas District Court.

The woman did not attend the family law hearing but her husband did and refuted the allegations.

Sgt Ruth Coleman said it will be alleged the man broke a protection order in July 2025.

The man told the court he did not require a solicitor and added “I don’t really see why I’m here.”

He alleged that the woman is seeing two psychiatrists and is on three €50 “bags of weed” a week.
