LATEST: 3-bed house on two acres in South Kildare goes under hammer

REA Dawson has announced the auction of a residential farm at Sheriffhill near Moone in South Kildare. 

The holding extends to approximately 51.07 acres (21.67 hectares) and will go under the hammer at the Clanard Court Hotel on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 3pm.

The property will be offered in one or more lots, allowing buyers the option of purchasing the three-bedroom residence with a small parcel of land of about 2.45 acres, or the entire holding.

The sale includes a spacious three-bedroom farmhouse which requires modernisation but offers potential to create a family home.

The farm also benefits from two yards. One is a traditional yard with older sheds, while the second is more modern and includes a cattle yard with handling facilities and a three-span twin lean-to hay shed.

Currently in grass, the land is laid out in large, easily managed fields with extensive road frontage, good fencing and natural drainage aided by a gentle slope towards the River Lerr.

Sheriffhill is located just outside Moone village and around 10 minutes from the market town of Castledermot, while Dublin is approximately an hour’s drive away.
