The CCPC have urged people to stop using the products immediately
A variety of popular children's toys that were sold at Tesco stores nationwide (including stores in County Kildare) have been recalled due to fears they contain a banned substance.
Addo Play Ltd is carrying out a recall of multiple Addo Play Ltd sand toys.
The impacted products present a risk as the sand may contain asbestos, which is a banned substance across the EU. According to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), this is because it poses a health risk.
