A fundraiser has been launched by Naas GAA club in the wake of a fatal road accident which claimed the life of local residents Brian Frisby and Grace Eliott, who lived in the town.
The club said: “It is with deep heartbreak that we remember Brian and Grace, two loving parents taken tragically far too soon, leaving behind their cherished sons Theo and Fionn. Brian and Grace were the heart of their family, devoted to providing love, guidance, and a bright future for their boys. This memorial fund has been created to support Theo and Fionn as they face life without their mum and dad.”
The club added that donations are deeply appreciated and will “help provide stability, care and opportunities for the boys in the years ahead.”
Many tributes have been paid to the couple, who died in their native county of Waterford at on February 21
The car they were travelling in was in collision with a van on the Tramore Road at Robin Hill, Tramore, about two miles from the city.

Apart from their bereaved sons, they left behind a wealth of family and friends who are mourning their tragic passing.
Brian is formerly of Newport Square, Waterford. Grace is formerly of Lisduggan, Waterford and was a teacher at Scoil Na Naomh Uilig in Newbridge. Brian was predeceased by his sister Maria and grandparents. Grace was predeceased by her nephew Ciarán and grandparents.
They were buried at St Corban’s Cemetery, Naas, following requiem mass at the Church of Our Lady and St. David, Naas on Friday on February 27
The couple were deeply involved with Naas GAA where Brian was a much-loved and respected coach.
In a tribute, the club said: "Naas GAA is deeply saddened by the tragic passing of two much loved members of our club and community, Brian & Grace Frisby, who lost their lives in a road traffic accident on Saturday.
"Our thoughts and heartfelt sympathies are with their two sons, Fionn and Theo, their extended families, friends, and all who are grieving at this devastating time. This is an unimaginable loss for those closest to them, and the entire Naas GAA community stands with them in their sorrow.
"Brian was an active coach within our club, giving generously of his time, energy, and passion to support and develop our young players.
"His passing under such tragic circumstances will be felt far and wide across both the club and the wider community. His contribution and support will be remembered with deep appreciation."
