A former judge on an RTÉ gardening series is set to appear at an upcoming native plant information event in County Kildare

Paddy Gleeson, who used to be a judge on 'Super Garden', will attend the event, which is being held in aid of The Hope Foundation, a charity which focuses on assisting children in Kolkata, India who are affected by poverty.

At this event, Paddy, who has a background in horticulture, will share his expertise with attendees.

He will also engage in a Q&A session.

There will be raffle prizes on the day.

In addition, tea and treats will be available for purchase.

'Fun, folklore and history of our native plants' will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2026 inside Caragh Community Centre.

It will begin at 4pm.

Entry costs €10 per person.
