The owners of one County Kildare home were left shocked to find that cash and jewellery had been stolen from their property.

When asked by the Leinster Leader about this crime, a garda spokesperson explained: "Gardaí attended a scene of a burglary at a residential property in Naas, County Kildare on Thursday, March 5 last, sometime between 5.50pm to 10.50pm.

"A sum of cash and items jewellery were reported stolen."

They added: "Investigations are ongoing."

Anyone with information and / or video footage relating to this incident is urged to contact Naas Garda Station on 045 884 300.
