A man grabbed and pushed a woman and screamed into her face in front of her young child.
That was the claim made by the woman at Naas District Court where she sought protection under family law legislation.
The woman said they broke up before the birth of a second child who is an infant.
She further alleged his behaviour escalated over the preceding nine months . She said she had had a C-section and “I feel vulnerable.”
She also claimed she had not taken any action up to now because she was afraid.

“He is hostile, unpredictable and controlling," she said.
She said they broke up before the birth of the child and during the pregnancy adding “he didn't want this baby.”
She also said she receives constant messages and pressure from him.
The woman also said she did not leave before because she wanted to protect the family.
She also said she had reported him to the gardaí. Judge Desmond Zaidan said the circumstances of the application were “shocking” and told the woman “you’re doing the right thing.”
He granted an interim protection order and adjourned the matter to October 12.
