Horticulturists Joe Kelly and Helena Kelly from Tirlán CountryLife Monasterevin with Diarmuid Gavin
Tirlán CountryLife stores invite gardeners of all ages and levels of experience to attend a series of free spring gardening events at their stores nationwide.
Tirlán CountryLife have teamed up with well-known gardener Diarmuid Gavin to launch this initiative, which will guide on how to make the most of outdoor spaces this season.
Local Horticulturists will lead events taking place in Tirlán CountryLife Monasterevin, Co Kildare on Friday, 24th April.
As part of the ongoing expert series Tirlán CountryLife Monasterevin will host its own free customer event on Friday April 24 from 12pm-4pm with horticulture experts Joe Kelly and Helena Kelly.
The experts will be on hand to answer all your gardening related questions at the event. They will also share advice on mowing the lawn, when to mow and when not to mow while demonstrating the new Segway Navimow mowers which are currently on promotional offer.
Helping you decipher your Camellias from your Chrysanthemums, the team of talented expert horticulturalists at Tirlán CountryLife will be on hand this spring to set you straight.
Whether you are nurturing a large garden, updating a small back yard or want to make the most of a balcony, the events will offer practical advice, seasonal inspiration and expert tips to help gardens thrive this spring and summer.

Speaking about the event series, Diarmuid Gavin said: “The more accessible good gardening advice is, the better. Often people just need a bit of confidence and some simple guidance on what plants suit what conditions. That can be the difference between feeling unsure and really enjoying your garden.
“A balcony full of pots, a small patch of grass or a large garden all have huge potential. With a bit of know-how, any space can become somewhere lovely to spend time.
“These events, with Tirlán CountryLife horticulture experts, are a great chance for people to pick up practical tips, whether they are just starting out or looking for more specialist advice.”
Joe Kelly, horticulture expert at Tirlán CountryLife Monasterevin said: “This is the perfect time of year to get out into the garden and prepare for the months ahead. Gardening is hugely rewarding, and we are looking forward to welcoming people in, answering their questions and helping them get the most from their space.

The events are free to attend and open to all.
