Some 22 people were treated on trolleys at Naas Hospital today having come in through the accident and emergency department.
There were 43 patients on trolleys at the Mater Hospital while the figure for St Vincent's was 30.
There were no patients on trolleys at Tullamore Hospital while there were eight people on trolleys in Portlaoise Hospital.
