A planning permission application for the proposed development is currently with Kildare County Council

A new orthodontic clinic could be on the way to one North Kildare town.

According to the planning permission application, the new clinic has been proposed by one Ciarán Devine for Units 6 and 7 at Fagan's Lane in Maynooth.

The description of the application notes that Mr Devine is seeking permission from Kildare County Council (KCC) for a change of use from office accommodation to an orthodontic clinic on first floor level.

This would include the provision of treatment rooms, a reception and waiting area, staff facilities, and associated ancillary spaces.

In addition, Mr Devine is seeking permission from KCC for 'all associated ancillary and site development works'.

The date received on the application is listed as April 8 last.

The submission-by and due dates are listed as May 12, 2026 and June 2, 2026.
