Plans have been lodged for an €837,000 redevelopment of an industrial unit in Ladytown Business Park in Naas, Co Kildare that would see it transformed into a dedicated gymnastics and recreational training facility.
The proposed development at Unit W4D, Ladytown, Naas, seeks permission for a change of use from an existing warehouse or industrial unit to a recreational building.

According to the planning application, the project will involve minor internal modifications to adapt the space for sporting use, as well as all associated site works required to support the new function.
No major structural alterations have been outlined, with the emphasis on repurposing the existing building.
The application has been submitted by Olympian Educational Services, based in Newbridge.
If approved, the development would add to the range of recreational amenities available in the Naas area.
