Naas Gardaí were on patrol in Kildare over the weekend when they stopped an illegally operated e-scooter and its rider.
During the interaction, they became suspicious and carried out a search of the individual.
A quantity of suspected crack cocaine with an estimated street value of €800 and suspected cannabis herb valued at approximately €150 were discovered, along with a significant amount of cash.
Further checks revealed that the male also had an active arrest warrant.
He was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act, as well as a charge for failing to appear in court.

The male is currently in custody on foot of a bench warrant and is due to appear before the courts shortly.
A file is bring prepared for the Director of Public Prosecution.
The e-scooter has been seized.
