Planning permission granted for commercial vehicle testing centre in Kildare
D & M Truck Engineering Limited has received planning permission
Plans have been granted for a €618k commercial vehicle testing centre in Kilcullen, Co Kildare.
According to Construction Information Services (CIS), application number 2560892 was approved by Kildare County Council on April 23 2026.
The application was first submitted to the local authority by D & M Truck Engineering Limited on August 11 2025.
This was with respect to a site addressed at Kilcullen Industrial Estate, Naas Road, Kilcullen, Co Kildare.
The plans involve:

The demolition of an existing workshop building, previously approved under 87/525 & 20/757;

Planning Permission for a replacement building to be used as a Commercial Vehicle Test Centre, Signage to the Front (north) Elevation and Rear (south) Elevation;

Permission for surface car parking spaces including 4 E-Car charging points, covered Bicycle parking bay and all associated site works.
